Marcus Jeffery, also known as JefferysMarc, is not just a fashion designer — he’s someone who helps people feel good about themselves through the clothes they wear. Since he was a kid, Marcus loved putting outfits together. He always knew how clothes could show who you are and how you feel. Later, he studied fashion design in Atlanta at American Intercontinental University, where he learned both creativity and business. He also worked at Gap Inc., where he learned how clothes are made and sold. But his biggest lessons came from Jarrod “Shug” Barnes, a Broadway costume designer who taught Marcus how to sew, make patterns, and create clothes with great care.
In 2017, Marcus started his own fashion brand called JefferysMarc. His goal was to design clothes for real people — especially those with full figures who often can’t find clothes that fit well. He wanted everyone to feel proud and confident in what they wear. Marcus does more than just make clothes — he also helps people figure out what looks good on them. He acts like a mix of a designer and a style coach. When people work with him, they leave feeling happy, confident, and ready to take on anything.
Marcus’s journey hasn’t been easy. Starting his own brand took a lot of hard work. At the same time, he also helped take care of his mom after she had a stroke. It was a tough time, but it gave him even more strength. One of the best moments in his life was when his mom called him her “little businessman.” That name shows just how hardworking and caring Marcus really is.
Today, JefferysMarc is more than just a clothing line — it’s a place where fashion meets confidence. Marcus is now working on new shapewear designs and better ways to tailor clothes. He wants everyone to feel like the best version of themselves. His designs aren’t just about looking good — they’re about feeling strong and proud. Marcus Jeffery is proving that great style starts with heart.
