Raised by power parents who emphasized intellect, discipline, and historical awareness, McCoy was immersed early in the study of revolutionary leaders and cultural thinkers, an influence that continues to guide her authentic, creative and strategic lens. A natural performer and storyteller, she began professional published modeling and acting at a young age, balancing academic, extra curricular activities and excellence with early industry experience.
Chrystal McCoy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Television, Radio, and Film from the illustrious Clark Atlanta University, graduating with honors. During her tenure, she held leadership roles on campus and became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated as well as leading her Campus Activities Board as President for two terms. Following graduation, she relocated to New York City, where she built a successful career as a published professional model, executive producer, and SAG-trained actor, appearing in international campaigns, New York Fashion Week, and prime-time television series including Power, Blue Bloods, Seven Seconds, and Younger, Carrie Diaries as well as the feature film Top Five directed by Chris Rock.
Her work expanded behind the camera as she launched McCoy Pac Productions, a full-scale production company focused on television, film, and original media. As founder, CEO, producer, and director, McCoy develops productions that prioritize authenticity, cultural resonance, and long-term impact, including her flagship talk show series Truth Be Told by Chrystal McCoy. In 2024, she further expanded her vision with the establishment of McCoy Pac Wealth, a subsidiary for wealth management focused on generational wellness and financial literacy.
