Aiesha McKenzie, Atlanta’s Fragrance Designer, is a fragrance entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of innovation, identity, and community impact. As the founder of My Signature Scent, LLC, a fragrance company specializing in custom perfumery, she opened a perfume studio where everyday people create their own custom fragrances and guides clients through the process of crafting their signature scents. Building on this work, she launched a Perfume Bar— an interactive fragrance experience that offers hundreds of possible scent permutations, and is designed to make scent playful, social, and accessible. The Perfume Bar has been activated for major platforms and productions, including YouTube, Apple TV+, and Onestream, demonstrating its ability to translate fragrance into engaging, culturally relevant experiences.
Alongside experiential design, she has created an original perfume line featuring bold, conversation-starting fragrances such as Sugar Honey Iced Tea, HNIC, Yo’ Mama, and Deez Nutz. These scents reflect her belief that fragrance should feel personal, expressive, and fun!
Building on this foundation, she is launching a first-of-its-kind perfume-making competition in April 2026 in Atlanta—an experience designed for regular people, not trained perfumers. Set within a fun, fashion-forward environment, the competition blends fragrance, style, entertainment, and community, transforming perfume creation into a cultural event rather than a technical exercise. By pairing accessible creativity with an innovative economic model that equips attendees with sponsor-funded purchasing power to support vendors, the event transcends traditional industry silos and advances conversations at the intersection of innovation, identity, and impact. With this debut competition, she is emerging as a creator to watch in 2026 by redefining how fragrance, fashion, and experiential design come together.
