Krystle Coleman is the Founder and CEO, of Midori Star Media Group @midoristarmediagroup a full-service public relations boutique. She is not only known for her brand she is also quite credited as a writer, creative, and event designer. She has built her name in the game working with some of the most prominent names in entertainment, fashion, beauty, and sports. She is continuing to make waves in the media industry and shows no signs of slowing down. Krystle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Florida Memorial University with a minor in Journalism. While in college she was able to obtain internships at multiple companies in the entertainment industry. Interning for companies such as Island Def Jam Records, The Pub Report, and Slip’n’Slide Records served as an excellent foundation for her public relations career.
She accomplished great feats by securing comprehensive print and online media coverage for the record label’s recording acts. She also supervised all aspects of the artists’ album publicity campaigns. The expertise Krystle acquired on staff enabled her to begin cultivating her own brand by taking on freelance assignments including conceptualizing and implementing publicity campaigns for major recording acts like Rick Ross, Jagged Edge, Trina, Plies, and Cassidy, among many others. Additionally, she coordinated numerous album release parties and special events with celebrity choreographers and more.
After gaining experience as a public relations intern at Def Jam and Slipe’N’Slide Records, Krystle turned her attention to helping her own clients. As a publicist, she has managed both public relations and branding efforts for major names in the entertainment industry. Krystle is also very experienced in working with professional athletes, including Dwayne Bowe, Bryant McKinnie, Vontae Davis, Asante Samuel, and Carmelo Anthony’s Kross Over Entertainment.
Krystle aims to show others through her success with Midori Star Media Group that choosing to invest in themselves and blaze their own trail is a decision well worth making. Her work has led her to corporate partnerships with Reebok and Puma, among others.
Krystle’s Midori Star Media is in its eighth year of operation, representing clients both in the Miami area and across the country. Midori Star Media Group showcases her clients through hands-on press relations, branding management, writing services, and creative directing. She’s been a contributor writer to Coveteur, has had her work featured in Bombshell and Vibe Magazine, and has been spotlighted in the Huffington Post.
In addition to her brand management and current creative endeavors, Krystle has recently branched out into the film industry. She serves as an associate producer on the brand new Amazon series “Dear Bestfriend” starring Trina, Angel Love, Andra Fuller, and Jeremy Meeks. Released on BET +
