JORDAN SULLEN
| Entrepreneur, Author, and Cultural Storyteller |
Jordan Sullen is a modern Renaissance man—an athlete, entrepreneur, artist, and storyteller whose journey bridges discipline, creativity, and cultural pride. Born in New Orleans and shaped by a deep-rooted sense of purpose, Sullen began his career as a standout athlete, playing football at Tulane University before moving on to the NFL and CFL. But even as he dominated on the field, a new vision was forming—one that would lead him into the worlds of fashion, entrepreneurship, and literature.
As the co-founder and CEO of Hatrimony Hat Company, alongside his wife Ariel Anderson-Sullen, Jordan has built a lifestyle brand that celebrates the legacy of headwear in the Black community. Hatrimony is more than style—it’s a statement. Through intentional design and cultural storytelling, the brand honors the traditions, elegance, and individuality of Black identity, offering timeless pieces that carry personal and generational meaning.
In addition to his impact in fashion, Jordan is a bestselling children’s author and illustrator, using literature as a vehicle for empowerment. His books center on imaginative, affirming stories that inspire confidence and self-love in young readers—especially Black children who deserve to see themselves as heroes.
A devoted husband and father, Sullen’s work is rooted in love, legacy, and leadership. Whether through the elegance of a hat or the magic of a bedtime story, he is consistently building pathways for others to see themselves with pride.
At the 2025 Most Honorable Man Dinner and Toast, powered by Edmonds Honors, Jordan Sullen was honored for his unwavering commitment to creativity, cultural preservation, and family. His journey is a testament to what’s possible when purpose leads—and legacy follows.
